hi, new here, just a quickie; i tried to order an LM3875 from mad about sound and apparently they no longer stock them.
i just wondered if there was any places in the UK that stock them anymore? failing that, i tried to order one from audiosector, and it wont let me use my credit card with there paypal checkout (paypal seems to hate me) id rather order from the UK, as theres the whole import duty, increased delivery costs, and longer delivery times you have to deal with, but if theres no other option then i was wondering where else is there to order one from? or will audiosector accept credit card directly? thanks in advance |

Farnell have them in stock and are happy to accept credit card orders over the phone. They're a bit expensive at £3.44 each in small quantities (just checked on the website) but they'll get to you the next day normally.

RS components also stocks those in the UK, you could probably order and pick it up from your closest service centre like I do, to save the postage.

ahh, i actually meant them in kit form, should have made that more clear, although that last list seems pretty comprehensive (abeit without the PCB board)

Normally items under a certain weight do not require any kinda declaration at least for the US Postal Service. In other words...it's prolly duty free to buy from a source in the US. I don't wanna advertise for these guys but Techdiy and Ezamps are US diyers putting out kits...and prolly others.

Hmm, what's with the deja vu posts Nordic?
![]() You'll have to ask Peter (from Audiosector) what his current schedule is like, but once it's off it shouldn't take more 3-5 days to get here. You'll probably get away with duty anyway.
