Heatsink For LM3875 Techdiy Kit
I was eyeing up this one from Wakefield but I'm concered with the fins interfering with the little caps near the chip of the Techdiy kit.
http://rocky.digikey.com/WebLib/Wake...ring/401-K.jpg This is Wakefield 401K or 401-K to make it easier for future searchers :D Jack...any feelings on this? The fins protrude .62" from the backplane of the LM3875. Thanks! |
The critical interference would be on the lower left of this picture where the two little caps (C1 and C4) are shown.

Carlos monologue continues...
So yeah...the Wakfield 401-K heatsink sure as sh_t interferes with the little caps...no biggie though because they're small enough that I can prolly bend them almost parallel with the pcb and just about clear the fins. We'll see...stay tuned for next week's episode :D |
