Here some IC's from princeton technology

PT2258, PT2325, PT2327. One of my friend tried PT2258. Its very good IC and has very low distortion and Noise.. The others are controlled by DC but it has a MCU interface.. I recommend PT2258..

Wim Bouman,(MR TUBE) has some completed assemblies available right here in the RS of A.

Remember that we stock the Chinese made remote controlled volume controls, many of those have meanwhile been sold and I have only had positive feedback from those of you that bought one of these.
The set comprises a remote operated ALPS volume control, mated with an input selector board using sealed, Japanese made relays, and complete with remote handset.
As an option you can also get a mounting bracket plus an extended shaft for the volume control.
Two types are available, one that caters mainly for the stereo plus balanced line input variety and another one that does the same but can also be used with 5.1 surround sound applications.
The first type uses a 100k log double stereo (4) ALPS pot, the 5.1 version uses a 100k triple stereo (6) pot.
They are identical otherwise.
Both come complete with a remote handset, variable speed control selection of the volume control, mute function, auto mute when changing inputs, and LED output to indicate the status of your input selection.
Also included are the infrared receiver/transmitter and a manual rotary switch selector for the inputs.
Here are the prices:

Four channel input board, dual stereo volume control, remote handset, selling for R 640,00
As above but triple stereo 5.1 configuration, R 680,00.
Add R 40,00 for the mounting bracket plus extended shaft kit.

This includes all the bits and pieces plus some of the interconnecting cabling except the batteries for the handset.
Drop me a smessage if you'd like his number.
