You stated earlier you built this amp for a friend, not yourself.
This implies you can't be sure about how this amp is going to be used in say , the next 10 years ?
Just in case this amp will be properly connected to an earthed ac-outlet, my proposed setup will provide additional safety.

ah, now I get it.
I thought that you refered to a safetymeasure that was appliable under the present conditions. That's what made me more than a bit confused.

It was however the wire from the safety-earth to each channel that caused much of the earlier buzz but perhaps I can get around that with this network.
