Default siemens STK050

Hi, today I got ahold of four old monoblocks. I bought them for the heatsinks and the toroids but there are some other potential goodies as well. The toroids are supposed to be 2x25VAC and each block has two larger chips (probably bridged) and one output transformer larger than the toroid. I don't know anything about the opts but the chips are called STK050, anyone who knows anthing about them? As I understand they are stereomodules but are they worth saving and are they any good? Outputpower and so on?

Picture of the amps.

Nice find.
STK050 was made by Sanyo, long ago. Google 'STK050 pdf'
I believe far better amps can be made with modern components but they can always be salvaged for a small project.

ah, then I'll just scrap the chips since there are the LM-series. Perhaps the output transformers could be usefull in the future, no data on them thou. Each of those blocks are approx 20x30x10cm so they could become some nice gainclones if imagination fails. I bought them togeter with a 4kVA toroidtransformer that I'm planning to use in series with source and preamp (230V and 110V secondaries)

Kmj,

If you are going to ditch those STK050 I would be happy to make a deal if possible.

How about the outputtransformers? Perhaps they can be used for something?
