Default Problem with my new teriod power trans

I have a problem with my new teriod power trans krab.

I finished my inverted Gainclone for 2 weeks using 16-0-16V 5A. trans, the trans is really cool and no vibration at all. I even do not know if the amp is using or not by touching the trans.

Today my new 14-0-14V 20A is arrived but the new trans is warm and have a bit vibrate when operate.

Everything is the same, just change the trans.

For my experience, the new one which have more AMP should be more cool and less vibration than the old one, Is n't it?

Is it danger to continue using it ? Or should I check anything?

You may have some DC on the line. Search for a DC blocker, this may reduce the vibration a bit. A small amount of vibration is normal if the construction is not potted or encapsulated.

In my experience bigger transformers are more prone to get hot and vibrate, than smaller transformers. See the effect getting more pronounced beyond about 400VA.

Hi,
different quality transformers will behave/perform differently.

To help keep vibration down the manufacturer would wind the core very tight to minimise the gaps between turns.
Similarly the copper turns will be tight and then wrapped tightly to damp out the tendency to vibrate.

Both the core and even the windings could be vacuum impregnated to fill all the gaps.

Potting looks good and will attenuate some of the noise, but potting alone will not reduce the vibration.

I think some low quality transformers are potted to try to convince the buyer it is of higher quality. They certainly look good and the plastic cover will insulate well.

A disadvantage of potting/covering is an increase in operating temperature.

A resilient mounting that mechanically isolates the transformer from the chassis might help reduce transmitted vibration but could take quite a bit of experimentation to find an effective method.
