I have a pair of OPA541AM TO-3 version and have seen some thread that the chip do not work well with gain more than 10X.
Is that true??? I look in it datasheet and never seem the mention about that. In the datasheet there is only few info about gain which I still do not understand it. Can anybody explain? |

The gain x22 can be used for Subwoofer where the high is not required.
For full range, the gain x 10 is the max. |

open loop gain of that amp is pretty low . so in closed loop ,with gain more then ~ 10 u wont get upto 20khz freq response.
