Default TDA 1521 +Epitaxial Darlington Transistors

Has any one built any kits using these chips and if so is it worth it, i.e what do they sound like ?

No idea. There's a td1521 kit on maplin. I never understand Maplin's pricing policy. Prices go up and down, and in this case are not these two items the same but with different pricing ?

Bought one of these maplin kits ,doesnt sound bad at all ,put some better caps on it Sover 4700 mf I had lying around and connected it up to a Skynet8080SMPS.Well worth investing £14.99 in .

stickinsect. My kit has been gathering dust since I tried to connect a transformer (not Maplin or Velleman) and I kept blowing the fuse. How did you connect an SMPS to it ?

Just connected the SMPS up +12,-12 and ground to the three inputs,(just use one of the ground connections on the board)the kit can be powered either with AC or DC in standard configuration.

it sound pretty nearly perfect ! in small volume ¡£
