Has anyone done a Gainclone PCB using surface mount parts? It seems you'd be able to tidy up the layout quite a bit as well as make it more compact. Not that it really needs to be, but why not if it's possible.

I'm about to do one, full SMT ;-) except of course the things that don't exist as SMTs.

I'm stuck between parallel or bridged or parallel/bridged, i'm trying to make up my mind what will be best to drive either 6 or 8 ohms speakers. Also designing PCB for PSU with regulation, when i'm done i'll publish everything here.

Please bridge it

I am starting to use surface mount parts. The reason this one did not use surface mount parts is because I used the same schematic file as the person who created the original schematic (moamps) and board (single sided). It had no smd/smt parts. :P Good design though!
