Hey guys,
I see all these great cases that you've used for your amps, does anyone know any place you can get descent cases in the UK? Thanks |

Hi
Maplin sell rack cases from 1 to 4U high these are the standard 430mm wide 300mm deep, they are very plain looking but you may be able "tart" them up with wooden panels. If you are looking within the UK only why not give NUUK a shout, he has some rather elegant looking cases here http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/nuukspot/decdun/propods.html Not UK based http://www.hifi2000.it/default.asp?Langid=1 |

There are more stainless steel boxes than ever available from high street shops, kitchen suppiers etc., many of which will make very nice cases. I quite recently made a large amp case from some sort of a cooker guard in brushed S/S, bought from a cheapo supermarket at the clearance price of £1.50.

Also have a look at Shinobiwan's Percieve 2.0 thread, he got some nice cases from Thailand and they do a nice range it seems.
