Hi,
http://www.mcminone.com/product.asp?...277&info=specs I don't think they do a European voltage version Some of their other modules are also very nice. Any thoughts ? |

It´s a cheap amp for what it is. You could try replacing the TL064 opamps, with some burbrown ones and have a listen... It´s not that simple, as you should have a look at feedback paths so that the new opamps won´t oscilate or work with poor bandwith.

Things I have learned about building LM3886 amps:
Don't buy the LM3886 chips themselves at Digikey, Mouser, Newark, or any other place BUT www.national.com. You can get samples for about $2.10 US there. Limit 5 a week. Scavenge at computer recycling centers for capacitors, transformers, and cases if you can. Use the standard computer plug shaped socket w/ 3 prongs for primary power. Use my Bleeder Resistor Switch Trick There are some tips for you
