Built this for my Brother in Law. It's an Audio Sector Lm3875. It is truly a musical instrument.

Very snazzy.
Is there a fan in there or is that just a vent cover?

Nice & tidy... any reason you didn't use the standard 3/4" spacing on the binding posts?

planet10,
These speaker post were not insulated. I got them because they were Gold and attractive. Had to come up with a way to insulate. Will go a different way next time. lgreen. No fan, but the intention was to have the option of placing a fan on top. I doubt the owners will push it that high but, incase they do, an 80mm fan will fit perfectly on the vent.

Nice work!
But there's one thing I don't get. If you're going to the trouble and expense to built the power supply separate from the amp, why stack them on top of each other? I thought the whole point of using a separate PS is to keep the transformer (and it hum inducing magnetic fields) away from the audio circuits. I_F |
