Default How do I look up info on specific chips?

I happened upon an old amp-pack from a Blaujunkt car CD player (actually it was built by the same factory that built CD players for Sony). This particular model had a detatchable amp-pack to facilitate a shallower mounting depth (the amp-pack could then be mounted remotely like any seperate amp).

I forgot I had this, since it was barried in a "parts" drawer. I cracked it open and found these two chips:

TDA1519A
20989
HSH9114 2

I was wondering if anyone here knew of a source for looking up these chips. I think I remember that the info on the face plate of the head unit suggested 30watts X 4, but I know thats prolly based on 14.4v @ 20% distortion (guessing).

I was just wanting to get an accurate picture of this amp before I did anything with it.

Yep, though I did do a pretty extensive search on google this morning before I posted here, I just googled the actually TDA# and it took me right to the source...painfully simple.

Thanx,

Default FWIW: specs

The specs say: Class B operation/ 22w BTL (I assume that's bridged)/11w X 2 stereo @ 14v with 10% THD into 2 ohms (6w with 10% THD into 4ohms/ 4w @ .5 THD) Power consumption is 25w.

There are two chips on the board with a switch that selects 2 or 4 speakers mode but I remember that the speakers wire needed to be wired differently as well.

I think I'll run a search on the actual board itself...

I guess I'm wondering if both chips can be bridged together...
