just wondering if a sealed lead acid battery can be set on it’s side?
I am building up my amp case and am planning it in CAD. The battery is a sealed lead acid commonly found in home alarms. By placing it on its side, the case can be significantly lower in height. thanks for reply and thanks for the great forums. I have learned a great deal from just lurking here. any reply is greatly appreciated. |

Since the electrolyte is held by a glassmat separator and plates, the battery can use in any direction and position without leakage. Here is the link to a spec sheet. http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/zbattery/bp7-12.pdf |
