Default DIY Amp/Preamp case options ??

I've building a few projects right now, a 6-channel amp, a pre amp, and volume control. I bought Hammond steel 1441 series cases for all of them. The black paint looks okay but I wanted something more stylish like the gainclones on this page.

Are these all custom or are there other manufacturers out there that make these?

Kurt Woodland has the kernel of the best idea -- he used the carcase from a dyna amp -- what a "green" thing to do by recycling the iron ore instead of digging up Northern Minnesota --
there is some superb workmanship displayed on Brian's website -- but you can get the work premade if you are skilled with a can of Krylon and know how to go fishing on EBay or at the Goodwill.

par-metal.com is definitely a good alternative to Hammond.

Any more ideas?
