it depends on what you are doing - sound system from an amp - just use a splitter or something. if its from an non-amplified source, you need to use an amp and then a splitter, or an amp with 2 Ls and 2 Rs.

What to do?
Post thread with an appropriate title so anyone with interest or knowledge can see it. Opening post in the thread should have specifics of your hardware and your goal. Mention your skill level and tools, additional parts on hand, the available space and budget to implement. After doing all of these things very comprehensively, only then can anyone begin to post a directly applicable reply. The short answer is to just split the signal to two *amp* inputs, passively with resistors or buffered like a transistorized input or integrated opamp. |

I'm even geekified here. I would just have 2 inputs to an amp and then split the output. S1MPL3 |

If you have two channels, like from a CD player, and want to run four speakers but only have a standard stereo amp? You may find the amp could run all four at once. Maybe you could tap the amp's line output or tape outputs to connect to a second stereo amp.

Note: I am not spamming, so calm down, eat some chocolate covered expresso beans, and watch some TV. This topic is very simple, yet so handy.
