I have a large toroid (500VA) used in a stereo gainclone. I want to add a third channel for a center channel.
My options are: 1. Use the same psu that I use for two channels also for the third one. (cheapest) 2. Build a second psu and use the transformer to feed the second psu for the third channel. (cheap) 3. Buy a new transformer and build a new psu (expensive!) The amps are Brians 3886 kits. I have the suberized board as well as the non snuberized one so I could use the better suited if one can feed three amps (the other one will be used for another amp for the surrounds). I hope I'm making myself clear. Thanks all for your help, xavier |

You have enough VA to add a third channel, try that first. Make sure the grounding is the same as the first two amps. Use the snubbized board for the front channels
