Hello,
A new amp of my friend (Leach amp) uses one big 40-0-40 480VA toroidal with 8x 6,800UF cap. The electricity is 220V, and slow blow 2 Amp (and later 3A) is used. The problem is the circuit breaker is sometimes automatically cut or the lights/TV (near the power amp) usually dim for a short period when the power amp turn on. I guess it's from the inrush current. Any effective & simple way to solve this issue? Will connecting two CL60s to each of 220V wire for the Class AB amp help? Thanks. |

Hi,
Watch here : http://sound.westhost.com/project39.htm Note that sometimes surge protection devices are sold separately in electronics shops. Regards, Lukas. |
