At first my PSU-setup where like this (per voltage channel):
Toroid -> Bridge -> 10 000uF -> 10 000uF -> on board 2200uF The bass was powerful but a bit slow- Experimented a bit to day and changed it to: Toroid -> Bridge -> 10 000uF -> 2200uF -> 10 small 100uF in paralell -> on board 2200uF The bass turned out faster and more clear, but it has lost much of it's power. So, how do you think that I should set it up to combine the power and the fast?! I have this idea in my head that i need many smaller values to get it fast, but I also need to keep them high enough to get the power. Any suggestions on a good value? I dont want to experiment to much. It's so much work to change 20 cap's over and over again |

Hi,
try taking out the 2m2F from the PSU and putting back the 10mF. keep the 10 parallel 100uF. If you can try moving them closer to the amp PCB with very short connections to the board. Almost like decoupling.
