Default 3886 an a 16 ohm load

How do chip amps, the 3886 specifically, handle a 16 ohm load? Any problems that this could cause?

I have very little electronics knowledge so please be gentle.

No problems at all... Just less power than driving lower loads...

This would be an oportunity to run your amp with a highish supply voltage. This way you could get the best power from your load and the chip won't feel too bad about it.
