Remote volume control

Hi Peter,
I would like to get a set up like this. I use a Lighter Note LDR single ended pre amp now.I would like to try this to drive a balanced set of ldrs and allow me very tight control of the 4 gangs needed and make a balanced remote controlled Lightspeed LDR preamp. I would need switching of 2 balanced inputs and 2 single ended inputs also. If I dont like it I can revert it back to the ladder resistor set up. I need one!

I wish I would have read this before buying the PEC!

The PEC actually isn't that bad. Mine tracks well up to 12 O'clock.
Only real problem is it's scratchy when turning up the volume.

It sealed, so not sure why it's making noise.
Is there a break-in period with PECs?

How did the relay-based attenuator end up sounding?

Perfectly for me. This passive volume control is very neutral. There is only one minus - relays are a little noisy when changing the volume

Will it ever surface so we can be able to experience its "second to none" facilities?
