Where may I find plans or a schematic for one of these? Admittedly, I'd only need 6 channels, but 10 would be sweet.

The schematics are based mostly upon these by carlosfm
PSU Thread: The (high-cap.) unregulated PSU for chipamps Amp Thread: Improving the Non-Inverting chipamp Here's what I believe is the most recent schematics from each thread: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...amp=1131923246 Major changes in my implementation was appropriately increasing the power handling of the components in the PSU. Each psu uses its own 625VA trafo. Another thing was that I used different diodes, ones that could handle the Amps I was demanding. I know a lot of its overkill, but I specced all components for worst-case scenario, so it could handle indefinitely it's 'max' power on all channels, including peaks over the max RMS without bottoming out the filter caps. The diodes were either, MSR1560 or MUR1660, can't remember which Physically, I jsut came up with a way to fit suff in the case and went from there. |
