Phase switch on Alpine MRV-T303 V12 amp

What does the phase switch on my alpine amp do? It has 2 setting, 0 and 180

I don't know you amp , but i think it should reverse phase.

whats reversing the phase do? make the sub go like in when the other speakers are going out?

Amplifier output is AC voltage , meaning that it changes from "+" to "-"
many times per second.Reversing phase makes it to change from "-" to "+", simply talking.

If you connect Amplifiers "+" to speakers "-", you reverse phase.
