I want to build my first gainclone. Does somebody have links for some good schematics for the amp and the PSU?

Ok, your first shot should be at the VBIGC (Very basic inverted Gainclone) by our forum member Nuuk.
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/nuukspot/...gainclone.html The chipamp part of this forum (diyaudio) deals almost exlusively with gainclones... |

i thought VBIGC stands for "valve buffered inverting gainclone"?
anyway, head over to the chipamps section and you'll find lots of projects.

Solid state = made of "non-tubes" => transistors
Chip amp = amplifier consisting mainly of a single silicone chip, integrated circuit like the LM3886.
