Well, I have asked a lot of questions in various parts of this forum but never posted a reslut of these questions so I thought that I could start with the thing that got it all started, the Gainclones from Chipamp.com.
Well, my amp has been built and rebuilt a couple of times and the pictures are from the third and latest time. It started as a stereoversion with separate PSU and later in a single aluminum box. This one is a dual stereo (4channel) construction with 2 of Carlsonfm's PSU. I found the heatsinks at work and had to find something to do with them so they became the casing. The volume is wired backwards so conterclockwise raises the volume and since i forgot to place some rubber under the toroids they vibrate quite a bit but i'll probably get around to fix it soon and when I do I'll remove the hum in the left channel as well. The next one I made for my brother since he got tired of his homecinema. The solid Cherrywood matches his cloned Proacs perfectly. However, he got a wee bit dissapointed when the GC didn't outpreform his Harman Kardon AVR-330 Something that I thought was a given, perhaps it's his DVD that isn't up to the challange thou..
