hey guys, just asking for the experts here to give me a hand..ive designed an LM3886 amplifier of my own, BUT im not sure what wvales to use..the schematic is given below..any help would be much appreciated

C6- 1uf
R3-1K
R5-22K
eliminate C8
R4-22.1K
R1-1K
C7- 22uf to 47uf polarized, tantalum, or NP 4.7uf to 22uf ect....
C3&C4 100uf to 1500uf your taste
C1&C2 100nf
Li- 7.4mh
R1- 10 ohm 2 watt
R2-2.7 ohm
C5-1uf
eliminate all component on mute pin. Use a 10k and a 100uf polarized cap - to ground.

thanks for the suggestions mate...but i have a question..how does the mute pin work?..is there an inbuilt switch inside and i can just link it to a pin of a microcontroller and pull it hi or lo??

First I made a mistake, L1 should be .7mh dont know what I was thinking when I typed 7.4???? Just wind 10 turns of .4 enamel wire on the body of the 10 ohn 2watt resistor.
The mute pin needs 20ma at V- to shut off the mute feature. When the pin is open mute is active.

yes i understood that bit by reading the datasheet..the reason i have the Mosfet in there is because im making a preamp which is microcontroller controlled...therefore i can have input select and mute options...is this feasable?

should work, make sure the mos can pass enough current and as long as you can switch it high and low should work withou a problem.
