Hi everyone,
I'm interested in getting the LM3875 briangt gainclone kit. The project is budget motivated, and as a learning block for electronics. However, all the dual secondaries toroidal transformers are too expensive for me. I'm curious that if i take 2 radioshack 25.2V CT 2.0A transformers or 2 12.6V CT 3.0A transformers, if i can get away with that instead of dual secondaries. Also, how would i wire these transformers. |

You might check out www.apexjr.com he has a lot of surplus
transformers and caps at real good prices. Oh! shure you can use 2 transformers but if this is one of your first projects I would subjest just using a center tapped one less things to go wrong. |
