I've got a tempest with dual 8ohm coils, and for the moment 1 lm4780 kit (ie 2chips). The kit parallels each of the amps within the same chip.
Can someone confirm please that for 35V supply, as each channel of the LM4780 will give 60W into 8ohm (1%THD+N) then because the kit parallels the amps in each package I will get about 120W from each chip. (and therefore up to 240W from my sub driver)

follow up question. When I obtain a 2nd 4780 kit (ie 2more chips/boards), can I just physically parallel the outputs from 2 boards into 1 voice coil ? Will this cause a problem if I disconnect the voice coil with the amp still switched on (as I have a habit of doing)?
