just to make sure everyone is on the same page, this is the preamp circuit that carlos recommended, and the only change involved a 1uf filrter cap after the resistors for the voltage

The ground (if any) plane must be used for shielding, and connected to one point on the circuit. It should not be used for the return currents. IMO. Regarding the capacitance around the chip's pins, you can see a mention on the AD815 datasheet. |
