Default Interchangable?

I just noticed the pinouts of TDA2050 and LM1875 are the same...

I just finished designing a PCB for the TDA2050 with a +-22VDC supply.

Am I correct in stating that I could use the LM1875 IC as well.

I'll put a 1M resistor on the PCB for the LM IC as shown on the Datasheet.

tda2050 was one of the chips suggested at the beginning of cloning.

chris fraser's pages are offline now, but you can do a little historical reading via the waybackmachine of archive org.
