Default Need more GC Help

Ok, I got the power wiring situation figured out, or atleast I think I did. It powers up ok, my voltages measure ok, again, or I think they do.

Now I have it setup so that there is a set of speaker wires hooked up to the "Out" and a set of twisted pair wire to the "In" connections. I hooked an 1/8" stereo jack to the end of the twisted pair wire and plugged that into a portable cd player I have. I hooked the other end up to an 8 ohm radioshack full range speaker in a test box I have. All I get is distortion at the moment with the music. Durring the loud parts it sounds ok, but still highly distorted, and durring the inbetween parts, its just very distorted.

Now what did I do wrong? Please help, I would appreciate it.

Never mind its fine, it was the stupid speaker. Looks like I need a new test speaker.

Ok well so far so good, has suprisingly good bass. Now I will finish the other half.

thanks but I fixed the problem, I had a blown speaker and didn't realize it. It was one I hadn't used in a while, just pulled it out quickly. It was just a cheap speaker I had for testing purposes.
