I am trying to find the ideal value for a passive volume potentiometer for my lm3886 amp. I want something that's going to give me a good rotation or two of volume control, and work with all household line sources (i.e. coputer, cd player, etc.)
thanks. |

20K is a nice number and works well with most things..... just stick between 10K - 50K. 10K can be a problem with some source components.

I use 5k. It works with the sources I have. Be weary of
tube sources though. Harry |
