Default little confused??

hey all..im trying to design a sound system with a subwoofer and 2 speakers...i am going to have 2 channels for the speakers (mid and high), but im not sure how to supply signal to the sub..all the speakers have passive x'overs...should i just take an output from each channel then add them and put them into the woofer?..any ideas?
