I make amp 40w tda1560q.
It use external 2 capacitors 2200uF to help make high voltage. I use circuit in its datasheet. Its has sound of distortion all the time, no music out. When i short circuit the C 2200uF on the left, the music comeout. I think one of the circuit in the ic that make voltage is broken. I never make a risk that ic can broken. Does the ic broken?

Can you show us a circuit of exactly what you have built.
It sounds like you have the cap in series with the rail which would be wrong!

These are car-audio BTL "class-H" chips, they have a pair of caps between two pins each for lifting the voltage after a certain power output, when the class-H circuit kicks in. Otherwise it would not be possible to have such a power with only a single 12v battery. This chip is similar to the TDA1562, but with less power. I don't know what the problem can be, though... Maby a faulty chip, but they are not cheap... the TDA1562 costs ~15€ around here. |

I have no money to buy new ic yet. must wait to next month.
the 1562q is 50% more expensive than 1560q here. so I buy 1560 to try.
