I was just wondering, on linkwitz's power supply for the pluto http://www.linkwitzlab.com/Pluto/amp-supply.gif , what is the purpose of SR1?

It's a "bleeder" resistor, to discharge the PSU caps at power off.
What's curious is that it is between the rails, and not to ground. Do you know the value of that resistor? |

Wouldn't the LED bleed off the power after shutoff?
