Default Chip Selection for woofer?

This is my first amp. I am putting together an 8 channel for use evaluation digital xovers in Sound Easy. I was thinking about 6 channels using the 3886 and tha last two using the 4780, bridged, for woofers. Any inputs would be appreciated.
