I have searched around for the last couple hours and I can't seem to find the info I want. so I come to bug you guys. I am wanting to build a simple, 2channel amp (at least 50watts/ch). I have a very short budget ($100 ABSOLUTE MAX, prefer around $50) for the project. I'm no golden ear I just want to built a small amp for the experience and maybe for a stereo in my kitchen or garage. From what I can tell, I'm guessing a gainclone will be the best way to go as they use minimal components. I can't find any kits or enough infomation at this time. can somebody please point me in the right direction and maybe explain my options to me like I'm a 4-year old? sorry to bug you but when I am done I promise pix and details and I really epreciate any information.

Hi Deagle50ae
Building a DIY amp requires a bit of effort and time. With your busy schedule you will be better off buying a second hand amp.

DIY = Do it yourself!
We save money on these projects by putting in some of our time instead. There is now so much information on GC building that there is little excuse not to know how to build one. Have a look at this page . Take your time, read it all and you will find all of your questions answered. If you go for one of Brian's kits, there is plenty of documentation to help you put one together.
