Iv'e finally finnished my Lm 4780 chip amp, well the enclosure for it anyway . Its not quite upto Mr Daniels standards , but then again i dont build aircraft bodies for a living . Im an electrician and judging by the rats nest of wiring it would certainly raise doubt.
I haven't gone overboard on fit and finnish as it lives in the work shop..sorry to dissapoint evryone but these amp's aint got what it take's to upset my mainroom system. Then again chip only cost a quarter of the build price of a WiiliamsHart mono block £600 per amp (kit form), there isnt much this side of fivegrand to compete with the amps..they really are that good. |

Hi Russ,
It definately sounds sharp and clear , thats the beauty of these little chip's. Looks like i'll be spending more time in garden and workshop..familly permtting...!! |
