To nina : Use TPA 6120 or, as Carlos say, AD 815. Both are much more better than some one transistor miracle .

Can any one tell me if the back of the Lm3886 is ground or V- ?

Hm, is my memory short or wasn't the AD815 in "TOXXX" package before? "batwing SOIC" now?

Isolate the chip from the heatsink, or isolate the heatsink from the chassis.
