Hai Guys,

Thanks for your reply's, i have try the capacitance multiplier in my JLH '69 but my old CLC supply sound more musical to me. How will the Pass Labs Aleph 5 sound next to my JLH? Is that maybe an update for me?

Dear all,

I cant comment on chip amps, pass labs or Hiraga, but the JLH 1996 update to the JLH 1969 is a significant improvement in the bass and the high treble.

This to my mind is a function of the direct coupling removing the output capacitor.

Regards

Owen
