Is there a way to buffer the output of a gainclone like with a transistor or a MOSFET? if so, how would you bias it? or is the signal already to large to be sent into another amplifier?
Can you describe more what your goal is? Do you really want to feed an another amp with a 10-20 VAC signal as an input signal?

Use a resistor divider if the signal is too big. That's all you need according to the little info we have.

Yeah, right. Let's amplify the signal at the reasonable level, then drop the voltage across resistor, disipate enough heat around and then again amplify through mosfet.
I think jsteigs give himself an answer in his last sentence.
I assume that hidden attention is to make PA system from Gainclone amp.

all i'm trying to do is amplify the signal a little more after the GC amp but i guess from all of your replys, it cant be done without wasting power.
