*CC suppressor cap query

Hi forum.

Put a 3875 'gc' together and it sounds great though a fishtank fluoro light causes the amp to *pop* when it (light) is switched on or off. The 3875 datasheet shows CC (220pF, page 5) to help combat this but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it has an adverse affect on the sound quality?

It's p2p so I don't paticularly want to be soldering de-soldering at the pins on a regular basis.

I've implemented that cap in both my 'clones.

I didn't hear any degradation in the sound, but it sure did remove the radio stations they were picking up.
