GC + dvd combo

I have built a lm3886 based 2 channel stereo power amp to drive a pair of eros speakers.Currently I dont have a good cd player. I am giving the ouput of PC sound card to the amp input.

Which would be the best dvd player to suit this combination?I came to know that philips audio dac doesnt give very good sound response. So I am thinking of not buying philips dvd players.I dont want to compromise on sound quality.

Are there any better ones available with good sound response??

I like pioneer dvd players. I guess it depends on the money you would like to spend

A Linn Unidisk 1.1 would do.

get the cheapest no-name one you can find, and the get the extended warrenty!

new pioneers are good, soundwise. but im not sure what we have in asia is the same as european models.
otherwise, go for a ultra-high super bla-bla-bla models. But that is another price range were talking about.

p/s- I am a proud owner of pioneer+tube linestage+3886.
