Hello,
I want to buld a gainclone with the LM3876, with the same outline as the LM3875, is that possible? I know that the lm3876 pin 7 goes to gnd, and pin 8 is for mute. I don't want to connect these two pins in the. and make it exact like the lm3875 non-inverted version. Thanks, Bobossa |

The mute pin (pin 8) must be used. A minimum of 0.5mA needs to flow there from V-, otherwise the chip is muted.
