After reading the PDF (down here) I questioned myself if this is possible with the LM38XX and OPA54X.
More voltage with the same current give more power, right? As these chips only support ~30V (+/-) the power is limited. Anybody tried this? |

It should be possible, but before going to that I would go for a bridged/Parallel design that can give you more than 200 W/8 ohm.
You bootstrap-curcuit very easely becomers "bigger" than the chip-amp itself,so............................ Have fun Thomas |

I know that a thing like this would be enormous!!!
But,... With a bootsprap like this and with a bridged/parallel implement it's possible to achieve more than 500W, right? I know you like bridging and paralleling 3886's
