Is it possible to use a couple GC ICs as a regulated power supply feeding another GC IC?

Here´s just one example to use them as regulators.
In the OPA548-datasheet you´ll find an adjustable power supply.

Personally I wouldn´t choose the OPAxxx cause of their high cost but there are high power opamps out there which are very cheap in comparison to a LM338 for example.
