i haven't built this exact pcb, but one of similar dimensions:
1.2" by 2.2".

i found from my board:
1.) mounting holes are not needed
2.) you probably will need to mount the capacitors last as they will likely sit very close to the IC's mounting holes. and it may become impossible to secure the IC once the caps are in place. this may mean the amp will be permanently mounted to a heatsink.
3.) pads were small. the wires ended up soldered to the metal surfaces.

my design used vertical mounted through hole resistros and wider 1000uF capacitors. this design's taller? capacitors may be fine.
