Smile PDA amp

I have a PDA with a route planner.
Volume of the PDA is much to low for listning while driving the car.
So i build a amp based on a TDA1815 with a small speaker.
The TDA is in bridged mode so the output should be close 24 watts at
12 volt.
Thats allot but i don't use it at full power.
So it doesn't get hot at all.
Works perfect.
But.........................
Do some of you know a filter that filters out the lows?
I only want to hear the frequenty thats been used by the vioce.
I want to filter the input this is at line level.
This is easier on the small speaker.

Hopefully some of you can help me out here.

Thanks

look into resistor -- capacitor circuits. rc for short.

they will begin to block high or lows, depedning on the arrangement.

what you want is a highpass filter, possible a bandpass filter.

Knock yourself out!

well, the bandwith on house phones are 100hz to 3600hz if i remember correct, so you should not go much lower or higher than that, i would not at least..

you also have to take into account what speaker you are using, i imagine that its a small full range, in a small box, that can't go to to low, so i would be conservative and say 200hz and nothing above 4K
