Has anyone used a led on pin 9 to monitor thermal shutdown? How is it wired
end connected to pin 9 and one end to pin 6? What's the bandwidth for a voltage gain of 21? |

All the info you need is in the datasheet...

Is that figure 10 on the datasheet but without 74hct04?
I see gain-bandwidth product and slew rate vs temperate but not the bandwidth at a certain gain. |

I suspect they use the gate to get clean switching, the e/s pin output may be a little messy to drive the LED direct. The pdf is on my other machine, but I seem to remember that gain v. frequency is on the first page of graphs.

gain v. frequency is not on the datasheet I have.
Under figure 4 it reads" External logic circuitry or an led can be used to indicate if the output has been thermally shutdown" |

I will have a look later when I get back home.

Thanks mate, I was fairly sure it wasn't my imagination!
