Default lm3886 current at pin 8

Has anyone noticed? when you change current at pin 8, you also change the sound of the chip. I replaced the resistor at pin 8 from 57.6k to 24.5k and the chip sounded brighter

Or is just me?

yes, i dont think it doesnt do the chip much good to vary the resisistor too much, thats because its the mute pin and your kinda putting the mute on a little bit, or taking it off a little bit. altering the current to and from pin 8 bleeds the input signal thuss altering the tonal quality of the outputt. or so i understand. see you soon, steve.. ..

Haven't checked this but may have something to do with change of gainbandwidth product. You should have less than 33 k. You can also check the datasheet about this.

I used 57.6k to get the minimum required current at pin8(.5mv) according to the datasheet. I compare it to another lm3886 amp with 24k the sound is different. I'd really like to get opinions from others(how it sound to them).
